Dave Buckman has worked in the mortgage industry for well over 20 years and is best known for his willingness to share his extensive knowledge in financial matters for the benefit of his clients and friends. He has held a variety of managerial positions in the mortgage industry, finally serving as EVP-Regional Manager for one of the largest Mortgage companies in the country. Having been raised in a family of entrepreneurs, David, in 1994, elected to pursue a life-long ambition of building a company capable of serving the financial needs of its clients in a manner that suited David’s high standards for excellence.

While managing Smart Mortgage Access, David developed a trusted relationship with his clients (he calls them friends), by individually serving their unique needs. From clearly explaining the details to first-time homebuyers, to performing detailed return-on-investment analysis for seasoned investors. His team of professional partners, including realtors, accountants, financial planners, and contractors work closely with him to make sure the experience for each client includes a proper balance of debt management and wealth creation.

In December 2007, a chance discussion between two long-time business associates, who share similar business and life philosophies, became an idea whose time had come, when David merged Smart Mortgage Access with Mobium Mortgage Group, Inc., a rising industry leader in the mortgage and mortgage banking arena known for their superior client service system.

With the back-office now in the hands of a very capable and talented support staff, David in now able to re-focus 100% of his energies on better managing a client’s ability to properly leverage the purchase of a home, and use that mortgage to build family wealth, rather than consume it! Recognizing the need for clarity and direction, David sees his role more as a teacher and strategic mortgage planner. Many homeowners fail to realize the impact their choice of a home loan will have on their investments, retirement, and monthly cash flow. What you don't know will hurt you!

Different from most mortgage lenders, David sees his role as one of enhancing family wealth. He does this by integrating your mortgage with your personal financial plan.
