Born and raised in Chicago, Kathryn Slaby, affectionately known as "Kaide," attended DePaul University and majored in elementary education. After a five year stretch as wardrobe manager for the highly successful production of Tony n' Tina’s Wedding, Kaide’s next position as box office manager, increased her business savvy. Her fiancé interestingly is the bar manager for the world-renowned Blue Man Group. In addition, Kaide studies ballet at the Joel Hall Dance Center.

Kaide developed a love for travel from her Mother, who wisely suggested one should "never travel abroad with someone who’s not old enough to carry their own luggage." Kaide’s travels throughout Europe, included England, Italy, Switzerland, and Greece. In fact, one summer she participated in a "study abroad" program in Greece. After experiencing first-hand the sights and sounds of many European cities, Kaide insists none can hold a candle to Chicago. In spite of its reputation as a huge, world-class, cosmopolitan city, for Kaide, Chicago still feels like home. Any in-depth conversation with Kaide on the merits of Chicago will be certain to inspire descriptions with words like 'nostalgic' and 'romantic'.

Kaide is deeply impressed by the passion of CEO, Michelle Bobart. "The enthusiasm at Mobium is contagious," said Kaide. "I am really excited to start working at Mobium."

Kaide has a beautiful son named Samuel Harlow Lunbert Elliott and a quirky cat named Pablo. What makes Pablo so quirky? He’s known for stealing pasta, breaking his tail, swallowing fishing lures, and costing the family $1800 for surgery. He’s also astonishingly willing to submit himself regularly to the whims of 17-month-old Samuel, without complaint. The family resides in Wrigleyville, with a great view of Wrigley Field.
